Sponsored Rider Andrew Gould is Reserve 4 year old Champion at the Shearwater Young Horse Championships

Andrew headed to the Shearwater Young Horse Championships last weekend with two 4 year olds qualified for this final. Korenbloem Bascola who has only been with Andrew for 6 weeks finished a very respectable 7th in what was a very hotly contended final. His other rider Dornroeschen took 2nd place just 1.3 marks behind the winner making her reserve 4 year old champion for 2010. Andrew said “both horses did mistake free tests and went the best they have gone to date at a competition. Dornroeschen is just so forward thinking and a dream to ride. The judges gave her a 9 for the canter. Korenbloem Bascola has only done one show before and even though he has enormous talent and potential he just lacks confidence in the ring yet but he is very exciting for next year.”

Andrew will take Dornroeschen to the 4 year old final at the National Championships in September and The Green Mile Company wish him lots of luck.
